Sunday Jan 27th Lunchtime Noggin at The Thatchers Arms, Mount Bures, CO8 5AT (past the Railway Museum at Chappel (turn off A1124) for 2.4 miles - beware hump back bridge). The Railway Museum is open 10 - 4.30, entrance £3, if you wish to visit. Organiser: David Waite.

May 21st to 27th Anglemog Trip to Ireland. The plan is to stay overnight in Fishguard and then take the 2 hr crossing to Rosslare on Thursday. Staying at The Gouganne Barra Hotel near Macroom. We will again split the journey back with a stop-over at the Fishguard hotel. At present, all places are booked (but there is a reserve list in case of cancellations). Organiser: Simon Morrison.

Sunday May 25th Lunchtime Noggin for those not on the Ireland Trip! The Swan, Henny. For a limited number of 16 members, there is the option of taking a river trip from The Granary, Quay Lane, Sudbury. This is a 2 hr trip, with return journey back to your cars after lunch. Meet at 10.00 am at Sudbury or go direct to The Swan. The boat trip is first come, first booked! Organiser: Steve Elsey.

June 13th to 16th MOG 08 Newquay Cornwall. Event bookings can be made on-line at www.mog2008.co.uk. The caravans on the main site are all taken, but you may find alternative accommodation through the Cornwall Tourist Board.

Saturday Jul 12th Dunmow Flitch Trials. Whilst the trials take place, there is a Country Fayre and, at present, the organisers plan to invite a number of local car clubs to put on a show of their cars. Further details from the event organiser awaited - to be confirmed by our organiser, Malcolm Kelsey. Tea at Helen's in Dunmow after.

Thursday Nov 13th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. Essex Regiment Way Golf Centre. Food will be served from 7.15 P.M. Meeting to start at 8.30 P.M. N.B. Remember to bring your M.S.C.C. Membership card! Only "Active Anglemog members" will be entitled to vote. However, all members are welcome to attend!

Sunday Nov 30th Visit to the Green King Brewery at Bury St Edmunds. A guided tour to be arranged. Possibly eat (and shop!) in the town centre afterwards. Tea to follow at Jeff & Sue Dearsley's. Organiser: Sue Dearsley.
