| Monday 8th May - A gentle meander along the Vezere valley, through Les Eyzies de Tayac (prehistoric centre of France), pass the Roq ue St Christoph visiting St Leon Sur Vezere, Montignac and the Grotte des Lascaux II. | |||||

| Tuesday 9th May
- A scenic run through the Purple Perigord. Stopping in Issigeac, a
picturesque town with twisting cobbled streets and half timbered houses to
Chateau Monbazillac. Tour of castle, wine tasting and lunch. In the afternoon we visit Bergerac, walk through the old quarter near the port, where small streets and large squares are overlooked by medieval houses. Wine tasting at the Cloiture des Recollects; Scenic run back to the hotel following the river Dordogne through Lalinde and Tremolat. |

| Thursday 11th May - Day at leisure, enjoying the facilities of the hotel, exploring the local area, or re-visiting some of the places we have driven through. Alternatively, for those who cannot cope without a daily scenic run, take the short scenic run to Belves and Monpazier, one of the best preserved Bastides in the Perigord. | |||||

"Bounat - a time warp - to think, Morgans hadn't been invented!" Friday 12th May - A short journey to the village of Bournat, a typical perigordian village you would find 100 years ago, complete with dozens of friendly craftspeople and an old fashioned fairground. Lunch has been arranged in the Le Restaurant where we can enjoy a four course menu of Perigordian delicacies with wine and café In the afternoon a scenic run to La Roque Gageac where we will board a traditional gabare boat of the 18th and 19th centuries, to see five of the valleys most beautiful castles. The tour takes one hour, and on our return, we can wander in the steep cobbled streets which wind uphill to honey coloured houses in La Roque Gageac. |
