ANGLEMOG Ferryboat Inn at North Fambridge by Jan Alderman |

On Sunday 29th April, 17 Morgans descended on the Ferryboat Inn at North Fambridge for a rare excursion on to the Dengie Peninsula. 30 sat down in the small low beamed dining room for a cooked lunch with Brian (Horne of plenty) managing all three courses. Those not wanting a full meal, sat outside in the sunshine.
After lunch we moved onto Mangapps Railway Museum at Burnham on Crouch where we arrived just in time to catch the train for its short journey down the track and back. Childhood memories of the era of steam were re-lived as we strolled around the old railway carriages filled with memorabilia.
