show, July 2004, as organised by the Matching Green Classic and Sports Car
Club. This was the 10th car show and approximately 400 cars of all
vintages turned out on a sunny day - usually the 1st Sunday in July ( this
year - 3rd July ) Apart from the Classic Cars we had scooters, motorbikes,
the army with jeeps, tanks etc. The arena events proved popular again with
our resident compare ( Steve ) giving an all day running commentary of the
different cars that are coaxed into the arena!
This year we had a display of olympic style trampoline. Jumping up and down about 30feet in the air! There is a beer tent, hog roast, bouncy castle, cake stall, tea stall, white elephant stall and many more. No charge is made either to participating cars or public visitors. The proceeds from the stalls pay for the hire of the marquee and other equipment. |
